The latest investigations into the Mainz Cathedral Treasury make it possible to bring together objects that have hardly ever been seen side by side before: a magnificent golden ring found in a bishop's tomb in Protected content Mainz), a no less magnificent golden mantle clasp in the shape of a spoked wheel (Landesmuseum Mainz) and the Golden Mainz Gospels (Hofbibliothek Aschaffenburg), all dating from around Protected content around Protected content .
