Historia de dos pintoras: Sofonisba Anguissola y Lavinia Fontana
Ciao a tutti!
The exhibition shows 65 works of two Italian painters, Sofonisba Anguissola and Lavinia Fontana, representatives of the Renaissance and Mannerism, who were very famous in the second half of the 16th century, and whose memory is now consigned to oblivion.
If you are willing to learn more about these two painters, their interesting stories and the great artists they met, such as Michelangelo and Van Dyck, please read the following:
This is not a guided tour and I would recommend you to arrive on time to buy the ticket as the access to the Prado during the last two hours (from 5 pm to 7 pm) will allow you to pay half price (7,50 eur instead of 15 eur).
Please keep in mind that reduced price tickets can be bought only on site, and NOT online OR in advance.
You will probably see a long queue for the permanent exhibition but there is a SEPARATE line at the ticket office to purchase tickets for the temporary exhbition. Such line is normally reasonably short.
We will meet at 5 pm at the entrance, before the security check.
See you there!
