Ghost Cat Anzu

The Eye Filmmuseum stands out as a remarkable architectural piece of art in the skyline of Amsterdam North. This adds to your sensation while watching a movie. We will watch an animated film of hour and a half.
Ghost Cat Anzu is an adaptation of Takashi Imashiro's manga and starts as a light-hearted hangout film, only to transform into a bizarre, surreal and spiritual odyssey. Especially when Karin, her new-fangled cat friend and the God of Poverty travel to the underworld via a toilet in Tokyo. With an abundance of charm, the film moves effortlessly from a country comedy to a magical meditation on the blurred line between the worlds of the living and those of the dead.
This movie is part of the Kaboom Animation Festival in Eye.
