Michigan Wine Trail + Warren Dunes Beach Day!

Our last winery trip before winter, let’s make it big!
We’ll explore 5 unique wineries near Lake Michigan and end the day with volleyball, snacks, and sunset at the beach.

Morning
•8:00 AM → Leave Chicago
•10:00 AM (11:00 AM Michigan time) → Arrive in wine country.

Winery Hopping (all five, short + sweet stops)

1.Hickory Creek Winery (Buchanan)
•Small-batch, veteran-owned winery with artisan wines.

2.Round Barn Winery (Baroda)
•Family-owned, lively stop with wine, beer, & spirits. Great vibe + often food trucks.

3.Red Top Winery (Baroda)
•Known for its “daringly different” wines & ciders, all on tap. Fun & casual.

4.Gravity Winery (Baroda)
•Modern, airy, customizable flights served with snacks. Great patio views.

5.Solasta Winery (Sawyer)
•Cozy, modern tasting room with a focus on Michigan-grown wines.
Each winery offers something different, so we’ll keep tastings light and move at a fun, steady pace.

Lunch
•Stop at Round Barn (food trucks) or bring a group picnic lunch to enjoy between wineries.

Warren Dunes Beach (afternoon / evening)

•Volleyball match 🏐 (bring a ball + net if we have one).

•Hike the dunes for stunning lake views.

•Picnic & snacks 🧺 — bring your favorites to share, plus any extra wine.

•Chill, swim, soak up the sun, and enjoy the sunset over Lake Michigan 🌅.
