Hike and See the Ruins at a Local State Park
Let's enjoy the best part of Spring as we explore the Red trail followed by the White trail loop. Take in the views of the impressive five-story New Manchester mill ruins and continue along the picturesque white-water rapids of Sweetwater Creek. The trail is considered a moderately challenging route, with some slightly technical parts over and along rocks. The overall trail is about 5 miles. Parking is $5 per vehicle, or free with a State Park annual pass (which is also good at Redtop Mountain and all other state parks). Please follow the signs to the park as some GPS’s will take you to the bait shop on the other side of the lake. We will meet Protected content
