The Aïnous Today - A Photographic Story by Lorraine Turci.

Let's discover this small exhibition that explores the contemporary quest of the Aïnous, indigenous people of Japan deeply connected to their territory. Aïnou culture, originally founded on animist spirituality, a rich orally transmitted mythology, a unique language, and singular traditions, has endured difficult times in the face of changes imposed by history. Despite persistent challenges, the Aïnous are reinventing their identity and their unique heritage, recognized as precious elements of a multicultural Japanese identity.
There is a free lecture (in French) of the photographer Lorraine Turci at 18h30. You have to book a seat on the website to attend.
We will meet for drinks after the exhibition :)
