Photography Walk –Autumn Colours at the Botanical Garden Utrecht
Autumn is one of the most colourful seasons, so let's spend the day exploring the beautiful Botanical Garden in Utrecht with our cameras.
Rather than trying to photograph everything, this time we'll focus on seeing colour. Look for warm reds, oranges, yellows and the last touches of green. Try to notice how the autumn light changes the mood of a scene and experiment with different perspectives.
A few ideas to inspire you:
Capture the same tree from three different angles.
Look for interesting patterns created by fallen leaves.
Focus on small details such as raindrops, textures, berries or mushrooms.
Experiment with depth of field to make the colours stand out.
Try photographing reflections in water after the rain.
Include a person in one photo to add scale and tell a story.
Whether you're bringing a DSLR, mirrorless camera or just your phone, everyone is welcome. The goal is to slow down, observe and enjoy the season together.
After our walk, anyone who would like can join for a coffee and share their favourite photos.
Looking forward to seeing you all!
