Sunday, July 26 | 2:00 p.m. Balboa Theater

The orchestra will be under the direction of Christopher Russell, Erick Parris and Aníbal Hernández. The presentation will take place at the Balboa Theater during the last weekend of the festival. On Saturday, July 25, a sound check will be held between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., followed by a performance scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The next day, Sunday the 26th, participants must appear at noon for a performance set for 2:00 p.m.
The XX International Music Festival culminates with one of the most impressive works of symphonic repertoire: Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection" by Gustav Mahler, a musical experience full of strength, emotion and transcendence. Under the direction of the American maestro Christopher Russell, together with the outstanding soloists, Susan Samudio from Panama and Benedetta Orsi from Italy, and the participation of renowned national choirs, this great concert promises to be an unforgettable moment for the Panamanian public.
