Beatriz Milhazes at Pinacoteca São Paulo
Milhazes is considered one of the most important artists in Brazil and internationally.
She is known for her work that combines geometric rigor with a consistently festive atmosphere, a result of her exuberant palette. Textile art, chita fabric, embroidery, typically Brazilian weaving, and indigenous graphic designs are references from which she draws inspiration, transforming it all into her own unique language.
“Prints from the Pinacoteca de São Paulo Collection” brings together for the first time a set of 27 prints produced between Protected content 2019.
The Pinacoteca is the only museum in the world that possesses this collection of works
