Sunday Trip to Baden
Anyone up for a Sunday trip to Baden?
Located south of Vienna and famous for the lush nature and thermal springs since Roman times, the town has attracted and inspired musicians like Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert, as well as important statesmen.
Plan then is to combine sightseeing with a light hike, that will allow us to discover the many viewpoints spreaded across the town.
Hiking-wise, let's walk from the town center to the Theresienwarte tower, as described at Protected content ( or Protected content )
We'll try to take a look at the giant open-air photo gallery, that's part of the La Gacilly-Baden festival: Protected content
Should we have some extra time, we can take a peek at the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the Leesdorf fire brigade.
