Join Us: TastArròs and Andalusian Festival 🥘🥳

Hello fellow Valencians,

The 9th edition of the festival dedicated to Valencian rice culture will return to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, organized by the Regulatory Council of the Arròs de València Designation of Origin.

As in previous years, the event will bring together chefs and producers in the heart of Valencia with free admission and tastings of Valencian paella and gourmet rice made with the three varieties protected by the D.O.—bomba, senia, and albufera— for 5 euros per serving and 2 euros for a third-liter.

The square will host an urban sequer installation , a recreation of a traditional drying shed where 10,000 kilos of rice will be spread out to demonstrate historical working methods, as well as a competition such as the Arrocero del Futuro.

In addition, there will be live cooking demonstrations on the TastArròs stage, as well as live music.

The event will also feature the participation of fishermen from the Port of Catarroja.

Andalusian Fair:

Valencia will be transformed into Seville for 10 days: the Andalusian Fair returns to the Turia Gardens with completely free admission.

The program will include performances on the main stage featuring singing and dancing, although the organizers have yet to announce the full lineup of shows.
