Living in Agra

On behalf of the InterNations expat community, we would like to welcome all expats moving to Agra. This incredible city is home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is a great place to live and work in. In order to help you navigate around the abundance of sights, attractions and business opportunities, may we introduce you to our InterNations members living in Agra. We run an online expatriate network which helps expats get in touch with other expats in the area. There are discussion groups and forums, as well as a private messaging system in place. In the initial stages of your relocation, language may still be a barrier. So, if you need to know how to sort out housing, visas and salary payments, why not ask those who've been through it all before? Our members consist of other expats living in Agra and around the world who will be happy to discuss their experiences of setting up in the city, the cost of living and what they learnt from it. Save yourself the stress of using search engines to give you the information you need. Instead ask those in the know!

An amazing community is waiting for you!

Moving to Agra

Agra is a huge tourist destination. The city not only contains the Taj Mahal, built as a mausoleum to the favorite wife of Shah Jahan, Mumtaz Mahal, but also two other UNESCO world heritage sites. These are the Red Fort, which was commissioned in 1565 by the Mughal Emperor Akbar, and the Fatehpur Sikri. To discover all that the “Golden Triangle” tourist route has to offer, why not organize a trip with other expats living in Agra via our platform? Why not try the famous Agra sweet dish “petha” together? InterNations is as much about helping expats find friendship through shared experiences as it is about putting global minds together for business networking purposes. Once you join up to become a member, you will have access to our groups. There are currently over 1000 ongoing discussions, which you can be part of. Finding fellow expats living in Agra is really very simple.

Working in Agra

For those of you who wish to use the platform for business activities, why not take advantage of the forum. If you need to know about a certain industry or location, just ask another expat in Agra. The InterNations network is designed to help you find out the information you need in the simplest way possible. There is also an online Expat Magazine and articles which we publish, covering many different aspects of working abroad. Expats working in Agra can benefit from networking on our site. Why not discuss your company or job and find out about the companies or jobs of others? Not using our community as a valuable business resource is an opportunity overlooked!
