Akron is one of the largest cities in Ohio. It is known as “The Rubber City” and even “Rubber Capital of the World”, due to the thriving rubber industry. The city is the home of Goodyear tires and the National Polymer Innovation Center. Akron is world-renowned for its research into polymers.
