Full Moon Desert Marathon in Wadi Rum - 13 May (Amman)

On the 13th of May Flashback Adventures organises a Full Moon Desert Marathon in Wadi Rum. This is a once in a lifetime experience that you cannot miss! Run (or walk) 10, 21 or 42 kilometres through the breathtaking landscape of Wadi Rum under a full moon.

The run starts at 18.30 on 13 may Protected content , the fee is JD 45 per person and this includes: a preset trail with flaming torches, event t-shirt, sponsor goody bag, safety vehicles, beverages, beer and an unlimited supply of amazing memories.

Wadi Rum was formed more than thirty million years ago when spectacular mountains of granite and sandstone were pushed through the crust of the earth. These were shaped further by powerful currents of water and the lashing desert winds. Red sands were blown into the area and filled the desert valleys. Mysterious canyons, magical rock formations and un-earthlike landscapes remain as examples of the extraordinary power and beauty of nature.
