Certificate of Employment (Amsterdam)

Hi,

I'm moving to Amsterdam Nov 1 and for my wife to register in the Netherlands I need to get a certificate of employment from my employer. I don't have a job lined up yet but wondered if anyone knew if this was an official governmental form they complete or if it's headed notepaper saying I'm employed. I've been googling but haven't found anything.
