Moving from London to Amsterdam

Hello all,

I am currently thinking about moving from London to Amsterdam to live and work. I'm from England and only speak English and would appreciate any tips on job hunting. Are there a lot of jobs available for English expats in Amsterdam and is it possible to gain employment for basic jobs from London before making the move? All advice is greatly appreciated!
