Moving to Amsterdam

Hello,
My husband and I are seriously thinking of moving to Amsterdam within the next month and we are currently for jobs as well as for an economic place to live while we look for jobs. Would any one be able to offer any suggestions or help. I am in the Medical Devices / Pharmaceutical sales field and my husband is and Industrial Technician.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
