Neighborhoods (Amsterdam)

Hello everyone, I will be moving to town from January and am currently loking into housing options. Would those, who are already established, be willing to give me some advice on which would be OK neighborhoods to live in. Which would be ones to avoid? I will be working at the Schophol airport, so transportation time there is important to me. Thanks for any advice.
