Too little time? Or is it reasonable? (Bangkok)

Hi everyone,

I'll be arriving to start work in Bangkok on Aug 1.

I'll probably be in town Protected content prior to look around for my housing.

I'm looking for an apartment at least 30 mins away from BTS Chong Nongsi (my office is located at Sathorn Square) and ard max of prolly 13k/mth.

Initially thot of finding somewhere within walking distance of the office but found that it's too overpriced for my budget.

So, is it just enough time for me to find a place or too short notice? Will it take long for me to take residence in a place once I agree to all the rentals etc?

It seemed a bit rushed I hope it's feasible enough to be able to find a place and settle in before I start work.

Oh, in any case, I'll be coming on my own, no family, so I guess my work is cut out for me, no?

Plus, just to be clear, how much rental am I obliged to pay upfront when I take the keys for the apartment? 1, 2 or 3 months?

Thank you in advance for any pointers given.

I'm just excited to get moving and get started.

Hope to see anyone soon once I'm there ;)
