Touch Rugby @ Pruntrutermatte (Basel)
Do you want to try out a new sport? Do you want to get fit and having fun? Or do you want to meet new people? Then you should come down to one of our Touch Rugby sessions every Monday night 7-9pm.
Touch Rugby is a team sport derived from Rugby, but has evolved to a separate sport and involves minimal contact (no tackling!). It emphasises a lot on running, agility, passing, catching and communication. Touch Rugby is mainly played in mixed teams, although women and men teams exist too. We always encourage newbies and interested players to join us. (regardless of experience, fitness level, sex and age) Just play and have fun! Just drop me a message if you have any questions or visit these websites for more information:
We play from 7pm-9pm every Monday. Location: Pruntrutermatte, Hans-Huber Strasse in Basel. We assemble around 7pm in front of the clubhouse. When you're joining us for the first time: just ask for Jo, Warren, Keith or me, and we'll help you with your "first steps". ;-)
Bring some sport clothes, football shoes (or shoes with some "grip" on the grass) and a water bottle. We also have shower and toilet facilities.
Hopefully see you there!!!
PS: We also have a Club bar and we sometimes go for some drinks/dinner afterwards ;-)
