Possible move with kids (Belfast)

Hi all. My name is Jon. I'm an American currently living in Dalian, China at the moment. However it looks like my family's next move may be to Belfast. I've heard nothing but good things about it from researching the Internet but I'm looking for a completely honest take on anything and everything in the city. General stuff is great but I'm also looking for info on things for kids to do: ie sports programs and other extracurricular activities. Is there playgrounds, zoo etc? Good schools. Like I said honesty is greatly appreciated so give me the bad stories too please. Lol. Thanks to anyone who can help me out. Greatly appreciated.
