Moving to Bellevue

Expats moving to Bellevue will discover that the city is known as “The City in a Park” and has been described as Seattle's largest suburb. The name Bellevue comes from the French for “beautiful view”, because from the city you can see both the Olympic and Cascade Mountains. Use InterNations to organize a meet up with other expats living in the area, and you can take a stroll in the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. Or if shopping is more your thing, Bellevue Square is one of the region's largest shopping centers. The city also hosts two major events and they are the annual Bellevue Arts and Crafts Fair and the biannual Bellevue Sculpture Exhibition.

Working in Bellevue

Historically, Bellevue has a long history of Strawberry farming, but not all expats working in Bellevue have come for the agriculture. There are a number of busy commercial districts as well as a large amount of retail opportunities. The InterNations platform is a great place to network and keep yourself informed of all new business opportunities and jobs in the city. Get information on costs, the best company to work for and who to speak to about your industry from InterNations’ members already working in Bellevue. It's an easy way for expats living in Bellevue to keep one step ahead of the competition.
