This Sunday, May 15, Hoppegarten Racecourse stages its first Irish Raceday, celebrating the Irish in Berlin and of course in the world of the horse. The valuable card includes the Comer Group sponsored Oleander-Rennen, Germany's most valuable long distance race, and the BBAG Sales race, a E50,000 supporting contest. And running alongside will be a theme of Irish craic, including Irish food & drink, displays of hurling and Gaelic football, stands promoting Ireland and its products, music and dance. The Irish Ambassador will be presenting trophies for the feature race as part of the theme. All in all, it promises to be great fun. We're not yet paining the Spee as green as the Liffey, but whatever happens there'll be some competitive racing with runners from across Europe. Visit Protected content to book your tickets.
