Public Schools and neighborhoods (Berlin)

Hello everyone,
We are planing to move to Berlin in a Protected content with our 2 kids who are 5 and 8.
We've started to look at neighborhoods that could fit families and that have good public schools.
We've narrowed it down to Charlottenburg and Prenzluer-Berg, but still don't know much about those two regarding schools or general population and personal safety.

We look for places with a international community both in the surrounding and in the public schools.

Any help is appreciated.
