Moving to Brasov

Brasov is a large city in Romania and it's known as “The Romanian Salzburg”. For literature lovers, paying a visit to Bran Castle, which is known colloquially as Dracula's castle, is essential. It sits perched up high on a mountain, overlooking the valley far below. Another must-see attraction is the Black Church which was built by the Brasov German community and is considered to be the largest Gothic-style monument in Romania. Expats moving to Brasov will also be in a good position to travel around Romania given Brasov's central location. It's quite close to both the Black Sea resorts and the monasteries of Northern Moldavia. For general information about living abroad, please have a look at the Expat Magazine, which we publish online. It's full of articles about the different factors involved in settling into an expat way of life.
