Bloomsday on the 16th of June is celebrated as a holiday by scholars and fans of Ulysses, the novel by James Joyce. It was on this day that the events of the novel took place in Dublin in Protected content .
Bloomsday is named after Leopold Bloom – a Hungarian, the middle-aged advertising salesman who is the protagonist of the famous book by Joyce, which was published in Protected content along in the fashion of Protected content in your own country traditional costume if you wish.
There will be readings from Ulysses with a special recital by Dénes Dosztán (Violinist, Pianist and Teacher Protected content of Irish and Hungarian music that was played in Hungary and Ireland in Protected content .
