Musicians/Music in BA (Buenos Aires)

I'm moving to town tomorrow with my wife and 3 year old son. I am a musician (drummer) and was hoping to meet some either ex pat or local musicians. I play for a band in the states called Son Volt and various other indie rock type stuff. If anyone has any info about rehearsal spaces, good instrument stores, clubs/bars please pass it along!
