Bydgoszcz is frequently described as 'the city of culture', and it most certainly lives up to its nickname, with the countless cultural offerings it lays out for you to feast your eyes and ears on. The city in Northern Poland is home to the Kazimierz Wielki University, the Filharmonia Pomorska concert hall, an opera house, and countless other cultural and scientific delights. Life as an expat in Bydgoszcz or anywhere in Poland is a breeze, as the people are known to be polite, the streets are kept very tidy, crime rates are low, and the education system holds international renown.
