Arriving in Cairo..............August

I have conflicting opinions to my arrival in Cairo in August re obtaining a visa for a 4 month Stay.

In Australia a travel agent tells me I must obtain a tourist visa BEFORE departure............. in Egypt news I see that this was cancelled until an e-system is in operation which we begin towards the end of Protected content .

Also I am told I can only get a one month and NOT a visa for 4 months..........if any one has ANY up to date information I would very much appreciate your reply... Thank you in advance Rose
