Two English guys in Chicago (31 Oct - 2 Nov.)

I'm an English guy that's been living in Italy for many years. A friend and I will be in Chicago for a long weekend from 31 Oct to 2 Nov.
We're both laid back, outgoing and fun and enjoy meeting new people.
Anyone recommend anything for that weekend? Is there a halloween party worth going to?
