Moving to Cologne/Dusseldorf

hi all - I'm currently living in London but am 99% moving for a job offer in Dusseldorf to start in March. It's a big decision for me as I don't know anyone out there, don't know German and to be honest am kind of freaking out. There are pros and cons to it naturally, but I'll be there this weekend to make my final decision and to see if I like Cologne (wasn't a huge fan of Dusseldorf) so I can choose where to live. If anyone is around and would like to meet, that would be fabulous! I'll arrive tomorrow (27th Dec and am leaving 29th Dec).
