2nd Annual Ann Arbor Healthcare Hackathon (Detroit)

Hello Everyone!

Have you ever wondered whether your skill set would apply to healthcare?
The organizers of a local non-profit, Ann Arbor Health Hacks (A2HealtHacks.org) invite you to find out over the weekend of June Protected content their second annual healthcare hackathon.
The event is an opportunity for design, engineering, IT, healthcare and business professionals, students and entrepreneurs (read: anyone with a brain who cares about the future of health) to come together to brainstorm and prototype new healthcare solutions with the goal to spawn healthcare startups.
Our very own Internations-freind Diane Bouis is one of the co-founders and if you've seen her recently, she probably handed you a sticker and said something like "If you put five physicians in a room and ask them to come up with new solutions to healthcare problems they might come up with the same things physicians have implemented for decades. Now put an automotive engineer, a social worker and a ballerina in a room, give them good mentors and the results might surprise you."

The event is free of charge, but you have to apply through the website A2HealthHacks.org

The team is also hosting monthly happy hours with the next one coming up June 8th.
More information can be found at A2HealthHacks.org, or their Meetup or Facebook-groups

Or if you know Diane, send her a note, she's pretty sure that this is the most fun you can have that weekend :)
