To bring or not to bring my Cat! (Doha)

Hi everyone, here's my first posting to this community. I am relocating from Singapore to Doha and wish to bring my cat, will I find a rental that accepts pets? Are they hard to find? He's old cat (16yr) so mostly just a sleeper! Fully flat trained and I would love to have him with me, he traveler to Singapore from Australia, so we are travelling the globe together...
