Visa to Puerto Rico (Doha)

Please help if you can...

I'll be attending a wedding in Chicago, then head for few days to San Juan, but confused whether or not I'll need a visa to enter the country.

I have a 5-year valid USA visa with multiple entry. I've checked in with the US Embassy in Doha and was given mixed messages: one day it was a 'yes, I need to', on another day it was a 'no need' and that I can enter with my valid US visa. I've also checked with 5 travel agencies the past week and no one could advise!

I can't take a risk and book my flight without confirmation....can anyone please advise?
