Dresden Musicians

Hi,
I'm a violinist from Scotland and I've just moved to Dresden for a year. I'm looking for other musicians who'd like to play chamber music, maybe string quartets for fun sometime?
Also, does anyone know of any high-standard amateur orchestras/ensembles?
I would also love to go to the opera at least once while I'm here, it would be nice to get a group together if anyone is interested.
