Renting for a couple and a toddler (Dubai)

Hi all,

Just joined the site and so my first post! I’m sure this has been asked and answered many times before but all threads seems to be a little outdated.

My wife, 18 month old daughter and myself will be moving to Dubai in mid-April. My employer will provide accommodation for the first 3 months after which we need to find our own.

Where is best to settle in Dubai with a toddler? I know many say live near your workplace but I’ll be working close to the airport and don’t want to expose my little one to aircraft pollution.

I’ve heard the usual places - Arabian Ranches, The Meadows, etc. but am keen to get more up to date thoughts from those with toddlers/similar aged kids and based on recent experiences as. Dubai seems to be changing year on year. Preference is a villa.
