Settings, twinkles and more (Dubai)

Hello again,

how can I change my profile settings? And what exactly are the twinkles for? I have like Protected content and I find them really useless and annoying, where can I change the settings to stop receiving twinkles? Help!

Also, am I the only one who has the impression that some people mistake Internations for a dating site? And if not, am I the only one who is really truly madly deeply not interested in receiving unwanted messages/contact requests/coffee invitations?
