visa advice for an umarried couple (Dubai)

Dear all,

I am an Indian citizen working and living in Oman at the moment with my Belgian boyfriend. After the end of our contracts here by the end of the year, we are planning to find jobs and move to Dubai together around Jan or Feb. However, we cannot help but also think about the worst case scenario and imagine that in case one of us does not get a job immediately, how the visa would work out for the one without a job. Any suggestions? has anyone had such experiences? We are inseparable ... please help.
