Advise on first steps when arriving to Düsseldorf (Duesseldorf)

Hi all,

I have recently been offered a job in Düsseldorf which I have happily accepted. As a result I am moving to this beautiful city in 3 weeks ☺

I was hoping that some of the members here could advise me and the inital steps I need to take. I am from Ireland so have no visa/ work restrictions. But I belive that I need to register with the state once I arrive and need to sort out insurance? Could anyone help here and say what are the first things I should be doing?

I'm also on the look out for WG apartment, so anything here would also be great.
