Vanfleteren, one of the best contemporary Belgian photographers, immerses himself in the sea — not from the shore, not from a boat, but in the waves themselves. The result: haunting, powerful images in conversation with centuries of marine art. Let’s wander together through stormy seas, misty horizons and visual poetry — and then raise a glass in good company.
