InterNations Kobe December Event: Year-End Casual Bonenkai

We’re excited to announce our last International Meetup of the year! This time we’re going super casual at a standing-style Japanese Izakaya. If you’ve never been to one before, it’s the perfect chance to dive into Japan’s classic drinking culture. Izakayas are magical places where strangers become friends in minutes.

We’ll start a bit earlier than usual at 7:00 PM, so come hungry! The food menu is full of cheap and tasty dishes. It’s written entirely in Japanese, but don’t worry — we’ll help you navigate it like pros.

The venue is about a 5–6 minute walk north of Sannomiya Station. It’s on the first floor, so it should be easy to spot.

One thing to note: the space is a little small, so it might get packed. If you want the full experience, try to come early! But no stress — the area is filled with bars and izakayas, and we can guide you around. There’s even an English Bar nearby.

Your organizers will be at the izakaya from 19:00 to 20:30. After that, we can take you bar-hopping around the neighborhood if you like.
