“Mr. Watson, come here, I want to see you." Those were the words spoken 150 years ago by the legendary Scottish-born, Canadian-American inventor Alexander Graham Bell—a true expat!—in the first successful test of his telephone, on 10 March 1876. What more excuse do we need to gather for a fun Tuesday evening of good food, refreshments and interesting conversation in the heart of Kanata, which is often called “Silicon Valley North”—the tech capital of Canada!

2026 also marks 40 years since the launch of the first 3 Brasseurs microbrewery-restaurant in Lille, France, serving freshly brewed beers alongside tasty Alsatian‑inspired food. (You’ll love their signature Flammekueches.)

3 Brasseurs Kanata is just steps from OC Transpo’s Terry Fox park & ride station in the Kanata Entertainment Centrum, where you’ll find ample free parking. Here’s the menu:

So come, chat up some new friends, find your common interests, and then make plans to pursue those interests together, as we all congratulate ourselves on surviving another winter in Canada. Your guests are always more than welcome at InterNations, too!
