The summer equinox is Sunday 20 June, this astronomical event marks the longest day and shortest night of the year. In the Northern Hemisphere it also marks the official start of astronomical summer. The sun reaches its highest point in the sky, delivering the maximum amount of daylight.
So, we will start early and begin the celebration of summer on Friday evening at our official June event. A new venue has been picked with a lovely outside balcony for us to, hopefully, enjoy nice weather. But if the weather does not treat us well, the inside is warm and welcoming.
A welcome drink is offered by the owners to get the evening started and a discount on wine and beer is offered for the entire event.
It is another great opportunity to connect with new and old friends, always a great place to make new friends, and enjoy an evening of good conversations with an international atmosphere.
Whether you’re new in town or have been here for years, we’d love to see you. Come share experiences, stories, and laughs with people from around the world.

As we have started at the beginning of 2026, we will again have a drawing for some prizes to be given to some lucky winners
