InterNations Cairo: Blast From the Past
This is a cafe that was built in 1908. It is famous for being a meeting point to political figures to discuss and plan the country's future as old as 1919 Revolution!
Artists, famous movie stars as well as literature figures also hanged out there including Nobel prize winner for literature the late Naguib Mahfouz.
You can imagine that the place is full of history and memorabilia yet what comes with it - slow service, average food, local beer, cash payment , no online menu, no pre-booking.😁
Please only sign up if you have the intention to show up and cancel if you are not because the place is small and there is no booking as I mentioned. I'm playing it by ear.
This will be representing August official event ( even though it's the last day of July) as I might not be available after that date.
Looking forward to this retro evening.
Cheers .
