InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Guadalajara

Hello to all Americans in Guadalajara! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Guadalajara? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Guadalajara which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: Guadalajara is a cultural hub perfect for expats in Mexico. The “City of the Future” is a major city known for being home to one of the most popular football clubs in Mexico, but also its tequila, mariachi music, historic center, and much more! With the bus, light rail, and taxi services, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in Providencia or Chapalita, for example, which are less than a 30-minute journey away from Guadalajara’s center.

Although Guadalajara has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Guadalajara, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.
