Riding big bikes - would that be legal? (Hanoi)

I can rent a Protected content enduro in Hanoi. But the usual driving license limits me to a <176 cc bike. Mmm.

Never saw someone wear leathers - is there no market for protective gear? I've got too many leathers and was wondering if someone in VN is lusting after them? 82 kg, 1.73 m... A huge friend fell off his bike at high speed and didn't have a scratch.

As I can only post once every few days (not just every day, not sure, why) I'd like to ask another Q: is Moc Chau a good destination for a bike tour, or are there other regions near Hanoi you prefer?
