There is free Abacus (Soroban) class here in Osaka.
You are cordially invited to learn the Abacus (Soroban), an element of traditional Japanese Culture.
Time: Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Place: 5th floor of the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry Building (Osaka Shokokaigisho), near Sakaisuji-Honmachi station on the Chuo Subway Line (represented in yellow on the attached map).
Fees: Free (including abacus and course materials)
Individualized lessons are provided in English and Japanese.
Our purpose is to increase awareness and understanding of Japanese culture and to promote friendship and goodwill throughout the world. We have offered abacus courses free of charge exclusively to foreigners since June Protected content . More than Protected content from 82 countries have participated in the course.

(1) From Sakaisuji-Honmachi station on the Sakaisuji / Chuo subway lines, use exit 1 or 12 and follow the red path on the map.
(2) From Tanimachi-4-chome station on the Tanimachi / Chuo subway lines, use exit 4. The blue path follows a descending slope.
The entrance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry is about 50 meters from the corner of Honmachi-dori and Matsuyamachi-suji.
