Medicals - South African Citizen (Kuwait City)

Hello all,

I am just curious as to the tests necessary for my Visa application. My company and the embassy vary when it comes to the tests necessary.

i.e. Malaria - I live in a malaria free region AND it is not contagious? Why is the test necessary?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated - and I HAVE googled, I get mixed information.
