Hi, my husband has been offered a position in Kuwait to start in Jan.2014. We have two daughters (12, Protected content the American system right now. They are stellar students and are both in the GT program. I heard today that the school system in Kuwait is terrible for expats and that every occidental expat there has some type of major school issue. We have lived in Qatar for several years and were very happy with the American School of Doha. Of course it was not perfect (don't know a school that is), but overall it was very good. We are afraid to move and put our children in a substandard school system when they are such good students. Would anyone offer his/her thoughts on the standards of the schools in Kuwait. I heard that ASK and KES are the better schools: academically strong, with a variety of activities, electives, and a high acceptance of graduates in the top universities around the world. True or false? Thanks for your comments.
