Lafayette is one of the largest cities in Louisiana, and is nicknamed ‘the hub state’ as a result of its location at the center of Acadiana, known for being the Cajun region of the US following the settlement of a number of Acadians who were moved out of Canada. As a popular tourist destination, Lafayette has plenty to offer in terms of culture, particularly Cajun culture.
